Pyther's Interworld

Well I upgraded my laptop to kernel 2.6.26 and when I rebooted I got some errors about memory not being able to be allocated. So I decided to trouble shoot and see if I had bad ram. After I got done I went to put both sticks of ram back in and the laptop wouldn’t boot. After some investigation I found out whenever I had ram in the second dimm the laptop’s caps lock key would blink and I would get no display.

I contacted Dell via the chat interface and they told me they’d send me a shipping box. Well I got the box yesterday and shipped the laptop yesterday.

Dell claims that it is a faulty motherboard which sounds right. The rep I spoke to said I should have it back before August 20th! This means that I should have it back before school starts. I am curious to see if they spend the time to replace the motherboard or if they send me a brand new unit.

On July 14th Basshunter released his new album Now You’re Gone. Basshunter a is a swedish techno dj and some of his songs have the UK’s top 40! Basshunter is one of my favorite artists. Some of his songs are in English while others are in sweden. The two songs featured on this album are:

My favorite song from basshunter is Boten Anna.

The Swedish lyrics of Boten Anna tell the story of a female IRC user mistaken for an IRC bot by the vocalist who later finds out the truth; subsequently, however, he states that she will always remain a bot in his eyes. The song is based on an actual experience of Jonas Erik Altberg (a.k.a. Basshunter), who explained the situation in an interview with the Finnish website Stara.fi. His friend said he would create a bot with administrative capabilities to keep order in his channel, #BassHunter.se; when this happened Jonas saw a new user with administrative capabilities named Anna enter the channel, and naturally thought this was the bot. Months later, he learned that Anna was actually not a bot, but was his friend’s girlfriend; the embarrassment, he says, inspired him to create the song.

After about 4 days of work both http://pyther.net and http://world.pyther.net are alive!

I need to add some content to http://pyther.net, especially the guides section.

There is a lot of work planned for http://world.pyther.net. I am hoping to add an upload section, screenshot sections, and possibly a few other sections. There are also some cosmetics that need to be worked out.

Many broken parts, to say the least. I am working on integrating wordpress in with my current website design. I am hoping to have this done by the end of the week, but this could may not happen depending on what this week brings (work).
